Trollbeads, was found in the year 1976, in Denmark, by Soren Silversmith. In the beginning, he began to make beads with troll faces and made them go through leather thong. This was then bought by customers and tied around their neck. Silver bracelet was later introduced, instead of leather thong, by Soren’s sister Lise. Later, they got the idea to have multiple beads on the same bracelet and thus Trollbeads came into existence. When it comes to Trollbeads, no two beads are alike. They are made from 18-carat gold, freshwater pearls, sterling silver, Italian glass and precious stones. More than 50 dedicated Danish designers are behind generating this collection.
