Richard Weatherford was a bookseller who decided to go online and for this, he created a online database called as Interloc. In the beginning, the project remained at a halt and then he was successful to create it. Marty Manley, an author who used this database once was thrilled to use it. She along with Richard, decided to take the database to a new level and thus Alibris was born. Alibris was an online site that helped people to buy books and helped booksellers, to sell their books. Thus it can be called as a medium between customers and booksellers. Their service was awesome and they delivered even out of print books quickly.
